Kirsten Hunneyball
Kirsten Hunneyball has a way to brighten up any working environment with her unbridled passion. Since graduating in 2021, she has been working as a freelance audio engineer / sound designer for film and video. She works with videographers to bring picture to life with sound through sound design, audio editing, composition, foley and any other audio post production work as well as on set location sound recording.
Some of her highlights in the workforce have included:
– Location Sound Recordist and Post Production Editor on a short film with award winning filmmaker Timothy Hay for the My Rode Reel 2021.
– Collaborating with various film companies like VEIA Media, Filmshark, Red Lens Media, Hay Productions, Ocean Driven Media, and more.
– Contributing to the sound industry through various blogs on mental health for Soundgirls.org and Sounddex.co.za
– She also has her own podcast called Curious About Recovery- Diving into Eating Disorders available on Spotify.
Kirsten keeps busy and is building a well rounded portfolio. Currently she is producing an album for a young singer named Chloe Tuck , while refining her sound design skills with projects such as the 48hour film festival.
